We have commenced early-stage investigations that help identify and assess the potential impacts and key issues this project may have on the environment, people, and infrastructure.

Environmental assessments are wide ranging and include in-field surveys of flora and fauna, reviewing heritage registers and working with cultural knowledge owners, modelling noise, air and traffic impacts, and identifying nearby infrastructure and utilities.

You may be able to assist scientific crews by helping identify local habitats or species.  You may see and hear assessment activities from June to September 2025. Here’s what to expect:

  • Limit hunting activity
